This product must be installed by a qualified electrician/technician. All installations must adhere to local wiring regulations and standards. Amperion - SunStore will not be held liable for any product malfunctions as a result of incorrectly installed systems.

This is a 1.34 kWp solar system with a 2.8 kWh battery, sufficient for a small household. It is a 24 Volt system and is estimated to power a combined daily load of around 6 kWh, for example (LED) light bulbs, a fridge with a 600 kWh/year rating, television, decoder, etc.
Before you install a solar system, we strongly encourage you to try and lower your electricity consumption by using gas for heating water and cooking, LED lights, and using other energy efficient appliances. Have a look at our blog on 9 easy steps towards a home solar installation.
The 4 panels that make up the kit will provide (for example) 4 X 335 Wp or 1,340 Wp per hour - and if you get the full 5.5 sun hours a day, you will get about 6 kWh of power - sufficient to charge the 2.8 kWh battery every day and power some of the load.
The 2.8 kWh battery will provide roughly 5 hours of battery backup under the same load. The less load you put on the system the longer the battery will last.
This 24 V kit is made up of, depending on availability:
- 4 x 335 Wp+ Solar Panels
- Victron EasySolar 24/1600/40-16 MPPT 100/50 Inverter
- Pylontech 2.8kWh lithium battery (24V)
