More and more South Africans are looking for possible alternatives to power their homes and businesses. Commercial Banks
If you have a home-loan, you should be able to finance your solar with an access bond. This will most probably be the cheapest way to finance your solar system.
Most major banks like Absa, Nedbank, Standard bank and FNB will also be able to provide a personal loan, but interest rates are of course higher. Most banks provide term loans covering 70-100 percent of the capital costs within a five to ten-year loan terms. Security is individual and project-specific and interest rate risk dependent.
